Value Proposition

This is the suggested format from Steve Blank, grandfather of the Lean Startup Methodology:

We help X do Y by doing Z where X = who, Y = what, and Z = how

Be sure and replace "help" with a word or words that describe you such as increase, decrease, improve, enable, disable, etc. Also, remember to create a Value Proposition Matrix to see all of the value you provide and keep it up to date.

SAM

Whenever you have something that is complex, confusing, a little boring, or "sounds like," you can easily stand out in the mind of your audience by using a SAM:

S = Simile, A is like B

A = Analogy, A is to B as C is to D

M = Metaphor, A is B

After you watch the video, be sure and check out his book, Start with Why. It will give you a lot more detail behind what you hear in the video. The book will give you deeper insights into Why starting with your Why is so vitally important to standing out in the mind of your audience, especially investors.
