Pre-Work: Your Curiosity Spark Kit

Prepared by: Nathan Gold, The Demo Coach

You’re about to meet someone fascinating…

Yourself.

In ~15 minutes, you’ll uncover compelling parts of your story that even you may have overlooked. This isn’t about polishing a sales pitch; it’s about finding the words that make audiences, large or small, lean in and say, “Tell me more.”

Tip: Please do this before we meet for Part 2. I recommend doing this after hours with your favorite libation because it’s meant to be fun and make you smile!

Would you like to answer the question, “Who are you?” with more confidence and less stress using humblebrags?

Exercise A — Discover your honest, authentic, and compelling personal narrative.

  1. Export your LinkedIn profile as a PDF (or copy all profile text to the clipboard).

  2. Open NotebookLM → click Create new notebook.

  3. Upload the PDF or paste the clipboard text into Copied TextInsert.

  4. On the right Studio panel → click Audio Overview.

  5. After a few minutes, listen to the AI podcast about you.

  6. Draft a 75–150 word intro as if introducing yourself on a podcast or to someone you just met.

  7. Optional: Create multiple versions for different audiences; test and capture feedback.

Exercise B — Curiosity-boosting one-liners about you.

  1. Open ChatGPT → create a New Chat.

  2. Add your LinkedIn PDF or copied text.

  3. Suggested Prompt:

“Take this data about me and create 10 powerful, memorable, and fun similes or analogies to describe what I do, aimed at someone who doesn’t know me yet. These should spark curiosity and invite follow-up questions.”

  4. The initial results might be spot on or not. So, continue prompting for more until you find the one that makes you smile or say, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

  5. Suggested Prompt:

“Create 10 more along the lines of #3 and #7.”

  6. Select 1–2 favorites and test them. Think conversation starters, not an elevator pitch. This one-liner aims to boost curiosity in the audience while being authentically memorable.
